    Long Ride to Sebastian Inlet

The wife and I did a long cross country to Sebastian Inlet and back (70) miles and burned 15 gallons total. Most of the time at 3/4 throttle. The ski ran perfectly and the only issue was that there was some salt water on top of the engine. Not enough to get into the bilge maybe 2 cups or less. There was water in the wells on the intake manifold. Where did it come from? All the hoses were checked and double checked. Oh, BTW ALL my water hose and exhaust hose clamps were loose so check 'em.

Maybe the water got in from under the seat. Did you plow through any large boat wakes. or take any waves over the bow out in the inlet?

Yeah I did but isn't it sealed up better than that? We surfed some nice waves at monster hole. I thought that could be it but I assumed the seals were better than that.
