Breaking in the 97

Over 300 hours on the hull 2 hours on motor.
My friend Gerry came out with his 3,000 camera and just sent me these pics.
I had a blast weather was 64 deg and overcast I let Gerry his nephiew
Georgie and one of his soccer buddies ride the 97 then I showed them how.

She's not as nice as the 99 but the fun factor is still huge.
My friend Gerry took the pics he said it was like playing Hallo looking thru the scope when I was coming straight at him.
Gerry has been on some rentalls he was verry impressed.
Freddy and Georgie couldnt stop grinning the whole time.
Had to fight the urge not to dig into the 99 and start wrenching.
Wanted to have a day on the water not wrenching at the launch.
Everyone had a blast and I warned everyone about the turning abillity so they would not get tossed.
Beach house sponsons will hurt you if you dont know how to hang on.

Thank you bainer and 97 its true what they say about cameras size really does mater.
Big pics you can zoom in and I think ive got another person hooked gerry is sounding prety interested in buying one possibly 07 GPR.
After being miserable all winter I had a blast didnt get to crazy kept her at 3/4 throttlle to finish break in.
It has stock intake and rideplate on it with beach house sponsons. My 99 with R&D intake and grate tracks straight and is on a level plane my 97 tracks straight but wants to ride a deg or two off plane to one side or the other, you can shift it back and forth by leaning slightly but it still tracks straight.
Next time out will hook up a tach and bring my etrex
Will get new plugs and take a look underneeth i'll bet I need to seal around the intake duct.
Then I will see if I can match 97 sleepers gps speed -10 mph lol.
Needs a lot of filling in underneath so lot of speed lost there.
Only rated at 57- 59 mph so sleeper should be 10 mph faster.
Wish it was closser I would go work on it right now.

The weekend is almost here still no stator I may have to disable the 97 so I can work on the 99

Just ride the damn 97 until you find a stator. You need to ride more & wrench less.

Ride but don't break it you need it running to sell I am going to thr garage now to take a last look for that stator. if I find it it is yours
Great Pictures by the way your friend did an awesome job.
