top rpm's question
well guys me and 10 other jet skis hit the water yesterday a little cool with 20 kmph winds, 16 degrees temperture.
after i swapped to jerry's metal washers, ceramic bearings and riva stage 2 superchager impeller i was seeing 8200 rpms quit often. I remember last year with the gps i was hitting 73+mph at 8100 rpm and glimpses of 8150 rpms.
is this normal to see 8200 on 2004 rxp?
gps speeds in the rough stuff 72.8mph and im sure i will see more mph when the winds calm down next time.
should i be carefull not to hit 8200 rpms?

You don't have to worry about hitting the rev limiter with a stock ECU. Its a soft limiter. Take advantage of the extra power by adding a little pitch to the trailing edge of your impeller.

8100 with flashes (like it was before) is ideal
