Hotel in Ft. Meyers area that stores your ski
Does anyone know any hotels in the Ft. Myers area that allows you to store your jet ski while you stay there?

I stayed at the lani Kai during spring break this year and they let me keep the skis (double trailer) in the parking lot. Had to unhook it 2 nights since they have very limited parking where you can leave it hooked up. Had one time when I thought I wouldn't be able to park it. they also have parking across the street you could use. I didn't really like the hotel (pretty old and there was NO water pressure - barely enough for a shower - not good for the wife with curly hair). However it was a pretty good party point. had a reggae band, lots of people haning out the weekend. in walking distance (stumbling distance?) from a lot of restaurants on the north end of the beach. On-line some complain it was dirty, but I just think it is an old hotel on the beach - bound to be some problems, but they try.
They said they charged $7 per day for parking a second vehicle, but no one actually charged me for the trailer. parking is VERY tight so if you are not really good with a trailer it is a bad choice.
Would I stay there again - nope - too expensive for what you get, too noisy , not enough parking and it is at the north end which is a complete parking lot at times (took 1 hour to go 2.5 miles getting back on the island at 4 pm on a Saturday).

Talk to Kawi-Guy
I went over there a few weeks ago and rode with Todd all
over Estero Bay, which is the south end of Ft. Myers beach.
There are several hotels with big parking and you're near some
great ramps like Lover's Key. Call him, he's a great guy and good guide!
Todd's one of the organizers of a big get together the 3rd week of July
in this area. He'll fill you in.
Yes, sure I'll be out riding in the Lover's Key State Park area, just make sure you get off of I-75 at Bonita Beach Road, I think its exit 117 or something close to that.
Head west and you continue on that road along the Gulf of Mexico till you go over a big bridge , then stay to the right, the public boat ramp is just across the street from the Lovers Key state park entrance. You want to turn right and launch at the public boat ramp.
I should be there around 10AM
Here's my cell number:

My uncle has a house right down the road from the Lani Kai right on the ocean. I can talk with him and see if you cant just put it under the house for a night or 2.

It all depends on the day and how much notice you guys give me. I need at least 2 weeks notice.
