at 11000$ with a pump and everything to handle tight and go 80 (well, prolly more like high 70s) I think it's a good deal.

it's 11K plus the cost of the ski.... so let's say appx $20,000 bucks and u get a 80mph ski "out of the box"
the guy Frank that has the RXP... or even green hulk now, will his ski go 80mph?
between parts and the ski, did they spend 20k?
i'm not criticizing or being a skpetic.... strictly curious.... i haven't the slightest clue what the build cost is to get an RXP to 80mph.

Well a 80 mph, magnum pumped RXP shouldn't go over the 20k bar, don't forget they have to add the SC, induction and belt driving system on the 15F.

It sure isn't a simple bolt on installation. The engine has to be torn down to install the new pistons etc. Seems like a lot of money for a box of parts.

I would tend to believe that if you take a stock RXP, and mod it up to the 20K mark, you will have a whole lot more ski than the STX15F. Like 11 states, Kawi is spending the big buck just for the S/C.

Indeed 11000$ worth of mods in an RXP will make it faster than any 15F SC, just because the STX is a slow hull.
Now as far as acceleration and ocean riding....

It appears that it runs on race fuel. Anybody have an idea as to the cost of race fuel per gallon is
Just curious.

Last year I was paying 6 and some change for 110, havent been on the water yet this year bit it must be like 8 now.
AvGas is cheaper and if it does the trick it's "only" around 4$ a gal...
