Thread: Reliability ?

    Reliability ?

I have a 06 RXP with 4hrs on it. I just bought jery's steel washers and hybrid ceramic bearings. I have been reading alot of threads lately with guys having something like 20hrs on their machine and having big issues whether they didnt change washers and grenaded their mootors Im not sure but my question is with changing the washers and bearings am I pretty well safe.

I have a riva stg 1 plus thru hull, waterbox mod and strainer.

I bought the bearings and washers to run my machine safe so with what Ive done should I enjoy a relatively reliable summer?

    Thanks guys.

you done good. there should not be any other issues. The ceramic washers are the failing part. They get into the motor and cause issues.

Break it in right and ride it like you stole it.

Well..... you have done what you can. However there are a few unexplained grenading of the cranks right through the cases. These seem to be fairly rare but it happens.

Yes you will! Stay out of shallow water, and look out for idiots, and you should have a great Summer as long as you are not hit by lightning

At the end of the day all I really want it is reliability, all my mods so far are just to keep me at the head of the pack compared to stock units.

As long as I enjoy my ski on the water instead of being at the dealer Im very happy.
