Riva S3 SC and 3 Blade results....

Impressed in the acceleration part, but not in the top end. Took it out to the canal today (fresh water, I usually ride salt) with Ray's rear bushing mod the ski blasted from the hole without jumping out, dont know yet if that is robbing me speed on top. I usually ride choppy water, no lake so...

Anyways, with the Riva S3 SC and the 15/18 3 blade I lost 1.4mph on top! I was doing 70.5 now im down to 69.1. Now, I have not installed the RR ECU or the valvetrain update yet, so this is partial testing for me. But I never though I was gonna loose so much. Now Im out of the 70+mph league again!!!

    What do you guys think?

You need to post how many RPM's you lost. Then i would tell you take "X" amount of pitch out of your trailing edge to get your RPM's back up to 8100 and you would have gained speed.

Wow, and you lost speed? Was this a back to back test on the same day (temps, water temp, humidity, etc?)

Wait and see what your results are once you install the ECU. The 3 blades love high RPM's

Im hoping, thats why Im not pissed off or worried too much now. I hope I made the right choice on the 15/18....I will try again without the bushing I put in, maybe on glass water keeping the nose down is not the best thing!

I never did a back to back test with my centered hole custom made rear bushing vs my stock one cause i NEVER ran in FLAT waters so maybe this mod could be scrubing some top end speed but not sure.
