Big bore 4 tec
I'm seriously considering calling Nils tomorrow to ask how much it will cost to bore out the engine while putting in the new pistons. Figure i might as well go ahead while i'm gettin into the rotating goods. Wonder what kind of gains i'd see?

Buy the EMS, or compatible stand alone programmable ECU so that you will be able to meet the additional fuel requirements.
Would be nice to have a 1800cc 4-Tec

You think you would need that much more fuel to go to say 1550cc? I think 1800cc would be sweet but i don't know if we have enough meat in the block to go that far. I'm not even sure if it would be worth it. I'd like to ask CRS but i haven't seen him around in forever.

At a minimum, I would run a fuel controller with the RR ECU. That way you could easily add any additional fuel. Its a much cheaper alternative too.

I'm guessing you're talkin about what you had Jerry with the RC injectors?
At this point i'm thinking it's going to be too costly right now with the other mods i have going on but if i can get away with it i'd like to do it.

Yep, Nils fuel controller with the bigger injectors is less than $800

Hmmm, Nils didn't answer today. Still a possibility though.
