one job that took to long

not only was the paint a bi#ch to match to the stock plastics on my 05 but i decided to smooth the grab bar for a better finish...
glove box lid and screen and sponsons all done so i set about wet flatting the grab rail down...those little bumps are hell and take hours to get perfect..
tryed a DA but it was balling it and ripping no matter how fine a grit i went,
so four hours later my hands looked like prunes from being in water but i got there...
the last photo my explain why i live alone...hey the paint drys better in lounge ..

That looks nice man! I was thinking about doing that my self but thought about how hard it would be to sand it down right. What got me thinking about it was the carbon fiber grab handles I have seen.

    Looks killer!

Looks super Salty. I just did new Hydroturf mats on mine, and I will never, never, never, ever, ever, do that chit again. I spent about 6 hours removing them until my hands and fingers hurt like I had slamed them In a car door 10 times with the keys locked inside. Then when I put the new ones on with all of the contact cement for 4 hours I was high as a $2 hooker on a saturday night. Never, never, never, never, ever, ever, ever, again I promise.........
