buy new 07 or wait to see 2008's?

I am in a perdicument(sp*) I currently have a 2005 gp1300 and love the speed holesho everything. but what i dont like is that it was the first i ever built and their are about 3-4 unfixable errors. so i was thinking about taking all my performance parts off it, taking it back to stock form. then buying a 2007 and putting everything back on. so in the end il have the same set up but on a 2007. But should i wait to see what yamaha comes up with for 2008? what month do they usually introduce the 2008's? thanks.

What could be the 3-4 unfixable errors? I cant really think of anything that cant be fixed. I've been breaking everything I touch lately so there better not be anything unfixable.

Unless u set it on fire , blew the engine, the errors can be fixed.

    And if they are "unfixable",*how*can*u*sell*it*?

Why dont u send the ski in for repairs, have it reconditioned, errors fixed, add some new mods and maybe have it sprayed black and gold.

And u will land up spending less, than selling your "unfixable"
    ski*at*a*very*low*price*and*spending*a*premium*on* a*new*ski..

    just my 1c

I was thinking if he sanded off the chines or made critical hull mods, he could have made it unfixable...........well very difficult to fix.....yes-no?

Yammi purchased a couple of RXP's back in 2004 to evaluate. The RXP was their target ski and the new 2008 model will be a ski to compete against it. Unless they changed their plan mid stream, the 2008 model will be a 2 seater and not another whale.

the ski is stil in good condition. i have done lots of stupid things while working/riding and have had them fixed but i just dont like that it has been messed up. its kidna like buying a new car then wrecking it a day later and not totaling it. its jsut been repaired to work and you know it has been wrecked.

its mainly my hull. I was loading my on the trailer during white caps and a wave kncoked me off track and i hit my tailer and goudged it. it was fixed but i know it prob. is a weak spot.

i guess its not so much unfixable errors but more so not 100% condition.
