    trim tab hull bolt

so i stripped out the threads for where my trim tabs bolt up to the point of no retapping. im thinking i Can just take the waterbox and everything out of the rear and then take out the trim tab mounting brackets buy new and put them back in. but my question is..what holds them to the hull with out bolts bolting it in? its kinda confusing but i think you guys can understand what im saying.

This would be a great time to do the pump tunnel reinforcement mod if you haven't already.

Your trim tab brackets are held in by rivets. You can see
them on the hull when you pull off the trim tabs. Drill them out to remove your 2 brackets on each side.
