    GTX Limited and RXT... Differences?

Is there a difference GTX Limited and the RXT? I read in watercraft world that the GTX Limited got top honors for Touring. I thought it is pretty much the same ski as the RXT... is that not true?

    Thanks.

same hull and same motor... but there are "touring" differences..

here's what the GTX Limited has that the RXT does NOT

integrated GPS in the glove box
    watertight locking storage
a different hood design for air deflection from the rider
    cleats
    some chrome plated trim pieces
comes with a cell phone case
    an anchor
    a dry bag
    some ropes
a depth finder built into the OEM gauges
    and a few other things

wanna hear something stupid too? .... every single year the Limited came WITH a cover that matched the ski all nicely and had "Limited" embroidered on it...

2007? nope... price went up, and they took the cover away...

yet you look in the parts catalog, they make a special Limited cover that you have to buy, lol..... i couldn't believe it... every single year the LTD had a cover

oh... with a Limited... you are also paying for the COLOR... i do like the 07 Limited alot... it's a huge seller, people are buying it just because of the color

The RXT weights 15 pounds more than the GTX ltd at they both run a different prop pitch.

    I can testify to that
Spent hours comparing PWC's and we ended up getting the Limited because my wife liked the color (we did add the wake edition stuff though and had to buy a cover)

Just picked it up last night - looking forward to getting it wet this weekend. Looks better in person than even the brochure pics.

I was also considering the Limited for the asthetics, but am now more inclined to saving the difference of $2000.00 and going with the RXT. I sold my RXP last year, and want to get back on the water..

Oh yeah, and this is my first post!
