    mods

Just rec riding but looking for a little faster all the way around. Dont want to add something that is going to add bottom end while losing top speed number. Would like more top end without totally killing the holeshot. I have seen a wedge and a prop so far. What size prop should he get?Anything else? Thanks

get the Solas prop. The wedge does nothing. I could cut your ride plate ($65 plus shipping), but its already short. That would be your experiment.

I've got a new plate for the R and F being tested now (3 very different designs). i would wait.

Nitro maybe you can knotch his Cam Sprokets and optimize their timing for more mid and top end.

What you need to install is a Flux Capacitor. Contact Doc, he knows what's up!

When advancing or retarding the cams you lower or raise the power curve. What you gain in one you trade off with the other. One needs to be cautious when changing cam timing because you bring the valves closer to the piston depending if advancing or retarding the settings. You must be aware of your piston to valve clearance at all times.

I could cut his cam sprockets, but that is advance tuning and I believe the poster was asking for simple tricks.

What is the standard RPM's that the non turbo runs compared to the ECU limiter? Would the fancy head mod improve performance on those units without hitting the limiter? I don't believe they have the heat soak issues the Turbos do.

That has always been a simple trick for all my motorcycle buddies.
I could understand if he doesn't want to go into the motor.

The F12 N/A is rated at 7000 @125hp later years after 04 they were [email protected] 7750 because the later years got the dual valve springs.

I can port and even use OS valves but the return is not as great as you would think with a stock FI system. The work is very labor intensive and expensive. Although gains can be made.

The starting stock head is the same as i use for the turbo before i go to work on it.
