    R&D pump nozzle kit

Has anyone tried this kit? If so what is the difference and do you have to remove or stop using the reverse bucket?

reverse bucket is still functionable with the R&D auto-drop nozzle kit.... altho it is used mainly for turning and CC racing... recreationally, it's not something anyone has an interest in... then again, no one has really tried it.

i'm thinking about picking up the plain extended completely circular steering nozzle... supposedly the stock nozzle is oval slightly? and not as long?

What gains would do you think you would see? Handling mostly i guess.

Shibbs, looking at my nozzle from the pump side to exit side, it starts out oval and goes to round...

anybody know why? and would changing this be better?...PR...

dunno PR.... R&D seems to think their round design is better. the new nozzle isn't all that expensive, so i'm thinking about givin it a whirl.

in the past, no one seemed to look towards R&D for anything for these 4-tecs except for a pump wedge.

This topic was just discussed a week or so ago. I have their drop nozzle and love it. Terry

I`m just looking for a better replacement steering nozzle, I am already going to have the pump nozzle mod done.
My complaint with the stock steering nozzle is that it is sloppy, to much play in the bushings, and nothing is worn, with only 77 hrs. on ski...Besides, I don`t see to much for the GTX`s...PR...

i wanna make ALL my pump hardware metal looking. no black... lots of silver. the pump is metal, the R&D nozzle is metal... guess i gotta blast the venturi and reverse mechanisms.... but will still have a plastic reverse bucket

use a plastic bonding paint, and paint it silver!?...
I know the exhaust will prolly ugly the pump up if I change the color on mine...PR...
