    Fountain on discovery?

Did any one see the clip on fountain racing boats on discovery channel?

There was something interesting on it. It made the statement that was a cool thought.
It stated that they make a pad on the bottom of the V hull (the part the boat plains out on) that is set at a differant angle. to allow the boat to plain at one speed and but still cut in the chopps.

question? is it possible to do that to an exstiting hull?
Ok maybe I ate to many of those brownies?

I am sure they have applied lots of their research and development on their GPR hulls

Pretty much the same as the flat surfaces of the ride plate and pump shoe on the GPR, only it's part of the hull.

    yep

It just made me wonder if there was a (some what) easy way to make the last 3 foot of the hull, a flater(is that a word?) surface?
