If you use tygon or better hose, you might want change the style clamp.

The standard screw type work killer on rubber hose.
Most of the screw clamps are too large for the small diameter of the thinner tygon type hose.
Tons of clamp types at mccaster-carr

The inner diameter is 1/4 inch.
Like I said if you use a rubber hose the standard clamps will work.
If you go to the tygon or thinner style hose the clamps don't work well, cut into the hose and leave room for air leaks.

Go to Mcmaster Carr, there's a tygon alternative for .47 a ft.

Everybody says 20 feet does the job, I've never actually measured how much I use, I just keep pulling it off the roll. LOL
