    How to check oil level?

    Its not on the how to section.

    With the engine warm, hot, cold....?

    warm ,ski floating with me off it to get it level, or any other way

    Warm and let the oil come down for a few minutes or what?

    Get the ski up to operating temp,shut it off let it sit for a few seconds(by the time you get the seat off it will be good)and then check it.thats it..make sure you do it on a level surface or better yet do it in the water..

    Lets say Im not in the water....If I put a level on top of the engine itself and its completely level its ok to measure it?

    Level on the trailer, idle it for 30 seconds, DON'T Blip the throttle, & then let it sit for 30 seconds. You should be 1/2 way up on the stick level.
    Do it a few times to be sure.

    I normally put the level on the side bumper rail of the ski, if on the trailor then just adjust the front of the trailor. When in the water (and not on the ski) I put a level once on the side bumper rail and it was pretty much level. Just wanted to use that as a reference point so I knew what to set the trailor to.
