    RXP vs. Water Chestnut

I wanted a few opinions on this. If my RXP was to suck up a water chestnut here and there would you guys think my pump setup would get damaged? I have the SS wear ring and the 15/19R 3 blade (both parts brand new too). I didn't want to ruin them so I'd rather drive 45 mins instead of 25 to find a different lake if these damn chestnuts are a problem..

    Fo-Fizzle:

IMO having the SS wear ring will help chew the chestnut up like a blender.

I had the most problems with damage when I had the plastic wear ring. Things seemed to get wedged between the wear ring and the impeller.

With the SS wear ring, debris seems to get "la-machined" through without damage.

I would not worry about water chestnuts with your set up.
