Easiest spot would be up front before the water enters the I/C. you have a fair amount of room in between the engine and gas tank. you could zip tie the line to the oil fill tube.

I put mine up front on my RXT. I epoxied a small block of wood to the hull under the front vent right above the battery out of sight. I screwed the groco mounting bracket to it and ran the 'in' water line up the left side of the hull and the out water line to the IC. It's out of the way and I can empty the strainer easily.

Make sure it doesnt leak before you test. Mine has a constant dribble of water right now. I hope tightening it fixes it.

Can I tell if it leaks on a hose? Should I just make a cut in the "IN" hose going to the intercooler and insert my water strainer there? I'm thinking somewhere up front where the hose wraps around.

Put some vaseline on the "O" ring seal.. If the ring isn't pinched, it should help seal it better.

I tightened the threads with a crescent wrench. So far so good. I checked by it being on the hose so you should be able too.
