    Genesis Flushing

Hello again,,, I recently posted about a Genesis that was given to me. It sat for many years and would not start (only has 6 hours on it), I diagnosed it was the fuel pump. I just changed it and the fuel it now sounds great.

I still need an owner’s manual 2000 Genesis injected, and whats the story with the battery, I jumped it at the cable, it looks like they buried the battery in the hull, I am hoping it not a big deal to pull.

Also I keep my skis in Havasu and never ride in salt, however I plan to try this one out in San Diego bay.. I see on the cooling rail there is a brass plug, I was going to go to the hardware store and get some fittings to make a garden hose connection for flushing, is this what you guys do?

I have not had to flush one before, start the motor then add the water supply for a few minutes?

    Thanks Paul

Do you know when you will be in San Diego?
With all the great PWC places in Havasu I think it would save you time to get a Flush Kit and the price might even be less than trying to make one yourself
