    washers

    I just got my ff plate and need to start shimming but i cant find stainless washers that measure at .010 anyone know where to get these in the fort myers, fl area or on the internet.

    Wat do washers do

    i want to put washers on my ride plat to bring it down wa will it do more top end or take off or hook up wat will it do i have a fx HO

    The washers shim the ride plate down. If you have too much angle in the plate and the ski starts to bounce, you can settle the ski down by putting washers under the trim tabs or ride plate. It actually slows you down but it makes the ski "rideable".

    i ride in rough water all day i live in the cayman islands we dont have lakes so rides in oceans so u think i shud put on the washer to help my fx ho stay down more

    fx if your running a stock plate I dont think washers would help with hook up.
    by shimming the back bolts i could get alittle more hook up in rough conditions. This is with jim's ff plate the angle of the plate is different from stock.
