New pics of trim pieces and GH decals...

Finaly got to go up to the lake house and mess with my skis. I filled the ride plate holes and saw a .8 mph increase in speed. Not bad!

My dad bought me the black trim pieces from a 2007 RXP and I replaced the side chrome pieces on my RXP. I think the black looks a lot better. I tried to replace the front chrome piece, I got the two screws on each side out but I couldn't figure out how to get the two screws in the front off, so I didn't replace the front piece.

I also took off the side Sea-Doo sticker and put on the GH decals I had Mike at Exotic Signs make up for me. Hopefully people will see my ski when I ride and check out this awesome site I have learned so much on.

Our nice Sony digital camera is at the bottom of Lake Mead so I had to use my cell phone cam. I forgot to take pics after all the deals were on, so had to take pics last night before we covered them up.

to get the front chrome peice off you have to remove the hood (shell) from the black pastic support (bottom). theres like 10 or 12 screws holding the 2 halves together (there are screws underneath the hoses on the hood aswell, that you will have to remove). once all the screws are out the shell just pops off and you can easily remove the front chrome piece.

Thanks for the info. Are all the screws that I need to remove on the bottom part of the hood?

yes, most of them. as i was saying i think there are 2 or 4 screws underneath the hoses ontop of the hood that need to be removed. just make sure you remember which screw goes where, i had a fun time trying to figure it out, lol.

Thanks for the info. I'll be up at the lake for Memorial weekend. I don't plan on riding Saturday as all the crazy people will be out. I'll take apart the hood. I'm sure my dad will be thrilled to see the hood in two pieces.
