Here's a dumb question. Half the time I take my ski out, I launch from a boat ramp. Since I am by myself most of the time, I usually pull the ski up gently on the ramp a little and let it rest on the keel so it doesn't start floating away. I felt under the hull the other day and noticed it's pretty rough all along the very bottom of the keel area. My question is how thick is the material down there? Is this something I should have repaired before it possibly starts to leak? Thanks guys.

Tie it off on the ramp.Just throw a rope through the grab handle and to the kleet on the dock.It should have one.
