Thread: Impeller Question
05-13-2007, 04:33 PM #1
Say a situation comes up where my impeller is damaged. Would there be an advantage to replace the impeller with an aftermarket manufacturer (Solas, etc.) and keep the same dimensions as stock or just go with the Honda OEM replacement? I am just curious. Thanks...

send it to carl at islandracing.net and have him fix it and re pitch it to give you 6200 rpms for about a hundred bucks. Beats a 300 dollar aftermarket on a stock boat.

I would recommend the Solas 17/29 for a Stock ski F12x or R12x. It wont add any speed but will help eliminate low end cavitation. If you add some power in the future itís a good starting point.

AandDautoparts on Ebay has good deals on Solas impellers for the Honda.
They may even do free shipping.
