    Carl has the best price.

    524.95 and it comes with a DF-14/20

ordering everything (except prop) from boats.net + a dynafly from carl actually comes out to less money.

Carl presses the bearing for you. Unless you can do that it is worth it.

yes, into the housing which isn't a good way to do it but if it works for some people i guess it's good. nando did a good write up on a pump assembly a while back i think it's in the faq section somewhere.

the difference between boats.net and ir is about $30 from what i recall.

Nate, are you figuring both bearings, both seals, bearing spacer, etc with the boats.net pricing? I thought that I figured it when I was doing mine and Carl was a little cheaper.

yeah, i just used RX951's parts list in an earlier post. it's in the FAQ section now. here's a link.

OK, I just did the math, and here is what I came up with.

    FROM BOATS.NET
    HO housing $203.49
    Pump cone $15.16
    Pump cone O-ring $1.04
Pump cone bolts $4.44 for 3
    Front bearing $19.02
    Brg spacer $8.84
    Rear bearing $22.44
    Front seal $9.75
    Rear seal $6.27
    TOTAL=$290.45
    PLUS DynaFly $249.95

    GRAND TOTAL=$540.40

Or it is $524.95 from Carl!!!!!!

Actually the dynafly is only $204.95, making the total $495.40, a difference of just under $30... which is what i said 3 posts up

you can buy carl's "setback" dynafly for $249.95, but at this point you should be able to set the prop back as far as you want anyway..
