Go the other way. Put the SC back on. No reason not too. Looks like you got all the parts necessary.

dont use the 155 pistons in a sc motor. u need the correct pistons on the sc engine. while your at it put a diff intake one it with a ic in it.

I know I can't use the 155 Pistons and the sc, because the compression would be too high. I was thinking of removing the sc, and running the 155 Pistons to keep costs down. I'd rather keep the sc, and probably will. I will pull the 185 and see what parts can be saved, that will determine the route I go.
I thought about adding a 215 intake with the ic in it, do they make a big difference in power?

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't the pistons the same on the 155 and 185? I thought they went to forged on the 215.
Beside you may have timing and fuel mixture issues if you go back to NA with your ECU.

155 pistons are nearly flat with valve reliefs, 185 pistons are dished to lower compression for the SC, i believe the 215 pistons are forged, unlike the 185 pistons. I have an extra ECU for the 155

A good 155 ecu is rare as chickens teeth.

The crankshaft looks fine, here's what I have to work with:
    1. engine block bored 0.50 mm with rust pitted center sleeve
    2. two std bore 185 pistons
    3. three 0.50 mm over 155 pistons
    4. Three rods
    5. Crankshaft and counterbalance shaft
    6. SC and NA complete stator cover
    7. ECU for 185 and ECU for a 155

so I either need a good std bore block and a 185 piston, or have my rust pitted block bored for 1mm over sc Pistons, if they exist. Then gaskets, bearings, stretch bolts, etc.
