Question How Do I Adjust The Reverse Lever

    Guys a little help please:

Installed the Riva pump wedge about a month ago & the reverse lever will not lay flush now.

I did post this before & got a few responses but I didn't quite understand & I didn't have time to mess with it at the time. However, getting ready to go out for the first time Memorial Day weekend & got a few things to finish up.

    Thanks in advance,

undo the bolt that holds the cable end to the reverse gate arm. loosen nut on cable itself and spin cable end to desired length, shorten or lengthen and re-tighten nut on cable, make sure cable end is in correct location so you can easily re-install bolt, your done!...PR...

Ok not to sound ignorant but is this at the lever end or the reverse bucket end?

reverse bucket end, there is a machined piece that threads onto the reverse cable and is locked with a small nut tightened against it.
loosen this small nut first and the cable end will spin in (clockwise) or out (counter clockwise). I think you`ll need to spin the end counter clockwise to lengthen.
make sure handle lays flat in position and adjust cable end so the bolt goes back nicely...
The spring tension is what holds the reverse gate up...PR...
