    HELP: only getting 7900 7950 RPM's

I've only been getting 7900-7950 RPM's. Been this way since about 60 hrs. I'm at 140hrs. Oly have a Wedge and ride plate hole filled in and a New Wear Ring.

it's a sign from the seadoo gods to get more mods!

You could try checking your oil level and s/c slip moment for starters.

You need to upgrade air intake. the stock restricts air flow.

Slip movement is fine, I didn't check it, but my dealer said it's fine.
I'll check the oil level again.

Air Intake has nothing to do with it. I'm not going to waist my time putting on an intake just to get it Back to stock RPM's. Doesn't make sence, Might as well sell the thing at that point.

Many stock skis only pulled 7900 rpms ... there is nothing wrong with a stock ski that pulls 7900 rpms. Mine never hit 8000 rpms or more until I put on a good air filter. If your oil and wear ring are fine you either pull your impeller back a little or add a better air filter ... adding an air filter is relatively cheap and easy and will add acceleration, rpms, and top speed.

There is many things that could cause loss of rpm, one of your blades on the prop could be out 1 or 2 mm, you could have a boost leak between the s/c and t/b, crap stuck in grate, low but still in range slip moment on s/c, high oil level, carbon seal leaking and sucking air, baffle plate dislodged in waterbox blocking exit and the list gos on and on. My bet is one of your blades are out of wack, good luck.

The max RPMs for you ski stock is 7950 what were you getting before you lost RPMs?

His signature says he has a 2005 GTX limited and I believe that ski was SCIC (correct me if I'm wrong), so he should be turning 8100 RPM.

Check the impeller nose cone. It could have come loose and slid up the driveshaft a little bit. That will cause an RPM loss.
