    newb question

im considering buying a new jetski and i always heard the gp1300 were great what does it take to get a gp1300 to do 70+MPH ??

It seems all of them are a little different, some GPRs only need a modded ride plate to get to 70. others need plate, head, and prop. Some have thrown all kinds of parts on and still havent seen 70 mph. All different, but I would recomend changing the intake grate as well for safety.

I would probably start off with some basic upgrades like the prop, sealing the pump and ride plate...then get baseline figure out of those and see how much in terms of gains you've made. You can always go from there...
