    98 exciter 270 impeller

    hi i have a 98 yamaha exciter 270 twin 135 hp 65u
    what impeller do you recommend

    Dave has is own system of stagger with the twin jets that I am not very familliar with unfortunately. However I will alert him of your thread.

    I recommend two different pitch impellers. In almost all twin pump boats, the starboard (right) pump loads heavier than the port (left) because of the direction of the impellers turning. Running slightly different impellers evens out the engine rpm's between the two. Our custom impellers are made from the Solas X series impellers. We get better planing performance and about 2 mph top speed.
