    Trim Control

I bought a used GPR1200 end of last summer,
took it out twice. However I can not adjust the
trim. The seller told me its got a Riva Stg 3
package, its loud and does 75mph on the lake.
So whats the story with the trim?

Welcome. When you say you cant adjust the trim do you mean the grip wont turn? the grip turns but the nozzle doesnt move? Or something else?

If the grip turns easily but the nozzle isnt responding it is probably your cable came loose in the adjustment. Remove the front storage bucket and you will see on the side where the cable wraps around a cam, thats where the problem will probably be. If that is all tight, then check behind the ski and have someone work the trim, see if the cable is moving in and out. The nozzle should have very little up and down play in it.

Thanks for the info, I'll check it out this
week and get back to you. From what I remember I can move the grip but their is
    alot of resistance.

Been meaning to ask one of these questions as well. My 02's trim wont move. Grip doesnt turn at all. I see the cam you speak of, what is it I can do to it to get it moving again?

When you are taking it apart do it very slow and do it over a towel or rag. You dont want to loose the detent balls and springs.
