Ouchh, the PAIN.
First time out this season, the water was a little rough, 2 to 3 foot waves, my upper leg muscles are killing me. Found those muscles I haven't used all winter. Anybody else have muscle pains the first couple of times out ? Does anyone do any exercises during the off season that eliminates it ? I go to the gym 3 days a week, must be missing something in my workout.

Just wait till tomorrow
I go to a mountain bike spin class twice a week. 1 hour non-stop pedaling.
Hit the stationary bike at the gym 30 minutes before for a warm up, and 30 minutes after your workout.

Guys, after 25 years of racing mx, i can tell you there is no way to prevent the early season sore muscles. No matter what exercise program you develope you can't duplicate the body movement, and muscles you use on race bikes or jetskis. A good program will lessen the pain.
WFO is right , the second day is always worst.
