    what should I do??

I pulled the stock air intake, exhaust, steering nozzle and pump, removed the S/C and moved the water box out of way.
What is there that I should do while I have the room inside the hull as far as repairs or mantainance. and also what should I do to prep for installing the new rive air intake, thru hull exhaust and S/C. I also removed old wear ring.
I still need to install new plastic wear ring, remove old prop and install new one and remove OPAS

Replace those zipties on the bailer hoses with hose clamps, remove cover on the waterbox, replace the metal clamps with hose clamps on the cooling lines where they enter the hull towards the back, check all factory installed hose clamps for tightness and check throttle cable adjustment!
    Theres you a good start!

If one was to not buy an OPAS blockoff kit from a company what do you suggest they use to block up the hole left by the 'rod' from being removed?

You can pick up a used set of those cheap ones for even cheaper. Infact if my RE's ever get here I'll have a set to get rid of.
