the price is good enough but i dont know what to do..
can i put my spare 1300 in it with carbs + elecrics..will this work, good thing is the crank cases on my new spare lump are 1200's and ive not welded the pulse line holes yet..
or will it have to go to 1200 for any reason i am not aware..
or true hull and paint for now and later find a rxp lump ect for a gprxp project that i would like..

If you decide to go the carbed route you will have to have 1200 electronics. Dont forget about all of the small stuff that you will have to come up with like display, P/V motor, etc.

I say look for a wrecked RXP/RXT and make it a conversion ski. There's no reason you can't drop a 1300 engine in there, though. And, if you decide to build up a carbed engine for it there's plenty of folks (including me) with spare parts just holding down shelves and displacing air in boxes in the garage.

You shouldn't have any problem Paul. The 1200 electronics are what you need and the gas tank pickup for the carbs is already there. The added displacement is very easy to compensate for with jetting.

or would it be easyer to go to e.f.i and keep the 03 clocks i have already and fit them with the loom off the e.f.i ski...assuming the electrics do come up from time to time on the forum????
and yes its the right price i think

Paul, if you decide to go EFI you would have to find another fuel tank, etc to do the swap. I didnt realise that the engine you had was a non P/V. If it was me and I had the parts, I would go carbed. I am not a big fan of the non P/V motor but I have seen them run with the best of 'em. You would still have to have the 1200 electronics even if it was non P/V. It will work this way. If you decide to do it I do have a complete electrical box.
