    What ski is this?

What ski is this I just purchased? (The one on the right) I was told it was a 1998 SLX 780. I can not find that model on polaris parts. All I see is SLH, SLTH, SLTX, SLX PRO 785, and SLXH.

    Thanks

Check the last two digits at the end of the VIN number at the right rear corner of the craft.
    I think it's a 96 as well.

uh oh. I'll have to email the guy. I just bought it on ebay today. Do you think I should try to get $200 or so off the price?

    It's a 780 with a few minor goodies.

    R&D intake grate
    OP Flame Arrestors
that's all I remember off the top of my head but there was more.

I'm not looking to bash, just get a fair price. I have never seen the ski's in person and I'm a little worried. That add's two extra seasons of wear and tear. Plus the MFD's are broke so I'm not sure of the hours. Comparing it to a car two years would make a huge difference in price and my buying decision. I appreciate the info.

Did you inquire about these? Do you know any background on them or info on their condition? I take it those or go-fast mods.

Thanks for all the reply's. I can tell already this place is going to be really helpful.

No, I used to own a dealership and remembered a few of the differences between the 780 and SLX780.
