    Smile question on acceleration?

press hard full throttle, first two second kind rough before it plane, feel like something grinding below the pump. Top speed still 68. If I press slightly throttle it plane no problem, but i will loose instant acceleration. Does anyone have similar situtation ? Please put your input. Thanks.

You either have something logdged in your pump, or your pump seal is leaking.

I don't know if it is cavitating but, it feels like 1-2 second poor acceleration.

It`s cavitating. They all do it. You need to buy the pump seal kit from R-Rated and reseal it. I did mine, but can`t test until Saturday....

I'm thinking his has an assembly problem, as was mentioned on here before.

Yeah. It`s an improperly sealed intake. They all do it.
The best fix is a seal kit from R-Rated. Or you can try to seal it with silicone only. The shoe has a cavity between it and the intake grate.
It sucks air into the prop for the first few seconds on launch..
I have talked with 4 other 250X owners and a few more here are also experiencing this.
