RXP oil level after 10 hour srv.
Hey guys I had my ski's 10 hr. service done at the local seadoo dealer. They did it in a 2 hour span. David the tech there was great, but he didn't follow my directions. I asked him to leave the oil level at half on the mark when warmed up. (They have a drive in test tank.)
Well I just checked it as I am going out in the morning and it was at a 1/4 inch over the top mark cold. Yes this high.
So I pulled about a quart out.
My question is about how much oil should I have cold on the dip stick? Bottom mark?
I Will warm it up at the lake and check and refill to correct specs, but I need to take as much out at the house first.
Any info? Thanks.
P.S. I did the service at the dealer because of the Warranty issue's. Didn't want to take a chance. It was only $135 and done in 2 hours. They were slow.

a tad above the bottom mark on acold engine and no more then above mid way on a warmed up motor is what i find to be working best ..

Thanks! It looks as if I need to take more out. I am at just under half now.

run it on the hose in the driveway for 2 minutes.... that will help you get a warm reading to a degree. of course, best is checking it in the water after it's fully warmed up.
