    E85 in a stock 90 h.p.??

Just picked up two 2014 90 horsepower Sparks. the original owner told me that he has been running what he thinks is probably E85 fuel. That confused me. Can it even be possible to run E85 in a stock 90 horsepower Sea-Doo? before I refuel I have to get this straightened out. My thought was if it's a stock 90 horsepower you run high octane unleaded fuel. could this guy have been putting the wrong fuel in there and if so would it even run properly?

Thanks so much for your help.

Just get a factory reflash siphon the gas out go back to regular gas just to be sure it won't run worth a s*** if it's running the wrong fuel and it can potentially wreck stuff bad

I shouldn't need a factory reset this is a stock 90 horsepower machine. My main question is is there anybody out there that has been told by the dealer to run E85 on their stock 90 horsepower spark?

Doesn't sound right to me at all.

As far as I am aware E85 should only ever be run on the specific tune for E85 fuel.

It takes 33% more e85 then normal fuel
It will not run for long very good at all

You can easily smell the difference in the exhaust e85 smell very sweet

    Not possible

thanks so much guys for your responses. I just got off the phone from the original owner and relayed some of the things you guys told me. Finally the original owner realized he made a mistake in telling me E85 what he meant was ethanol free gas! now my mind is at ease thanks again!
