homemade finger throttle.
I'm bouncing off the walls bored and while I was in the garage looking for something to do a finger throttle hit me.
I've got all the parts but I don't like the gaping hole left after removing the stock plastic housing that holds the thumb throttle. I thought about hacking that stock piece up but I'd rather not so I can go back to stock for whatever reason if needed.
My mountian bike has a two finger brake lever that I'll use as mock up. The final product will probably be aluminum or stainless from the bike shop.
Anyone do this and have pictures? I want to see what yours looks like.

alright asshole j/k
you are tugging on my wallet in a bad way. I was thinking cheap and easy, more cheap than easy. After sitting on the ski today I think I do want the bars forward, up, and wider then they currently are, but my wife may freak if I drop that kind of money right now. I have to recoup from the wifes new girls (tit job), x-mas, and the new dishwasher before I drop any money on anything over 100 bucks.
trust me, if I had my way you would have already shipped about 4K worth of goods to my door.

Jerry don't mind me if i steal your gauge mounting idea man it just kicks ass. What do you have on there boost and oil pressure? Do you have any pics of how you mounted them in there? I hate taking my mirrors off becuase they seem fragile. It'd be nice to mount them so you could remove them without having to remove the mirror housing.

Mounting the gauges there was kinda a pain in the ass. I removed the mirror out of the plastic housing and then replaced it with some black plastic and cut the holes for the gauges and then hot glued them in.
Yes, its boost and oil pressure, but if i were to do it all over again i would lose the oil pressure gauge and go with an engine temp gauge.
