    thru hull exhaust ??

When I remove the stock exhaust I need to re-use the nut and gasket to hold the block off plug in place.

My question is: do I install the gasket on the inside of the hull were the nut will be? On the stock exhaust the nut and gasket were on the outside of the hull, now they will be on the inside, correct?

Also, do I use sealant on the inside and outside? or just to the gasket and threads as the instructions say?

    Thanks

    another thru hull question

Looking at the instructions and pictures it only shows a rubber hose being connected from the new thru hull outlet to the water box. But the kit comes with hard pipe. What am I missing here with these instructions??

maybe someone can post a link to an early post with pics that someone has done this on an RXT

There is a rubber hose thats connected to your stock thru hull outlet u need to disconnect that hose and connect it to the barb fitting that is on the metal thru hull pipe.
