    Question Square Dynotune questions

    1. I see Shibby sealed his guages up, but it appears the round guages come apart and these square ones do not. Any of you rough water guys using the square guage seal it up somehow? I was thinking of just beading it around the seam and wire, but thought that may do more harm than good.(fogging etc.)

    2. Still have the stock IC, so just double checking to see if the intake runner nipples are still the place of choice? If so, are ya'll running rubber hose to some other fittings which in turn screw into the sending unit? (ie. rubber hose to a barb/male NPT fitting?)

    thank ya kindly

edit: where's jerry blog when you need it!?!

It wont hurt anything to seal up those two areas, they also have a seam where the display panel attaches to the case that needs to be sealed as well. Just a very small bead of clear silicne seems to work best, just be carefull around the display. Put some dielectric grease in the din plug before you put it together and then use a piece of heat shrink to cover the whole din plug to protect it, a must if you will be in salt water.
I just run a piece of rubber hose from the intake runner and attach to the sending unit threads with 3 layers of heat shrink, easy but effective.
