RIVA Rear air and Thru Hull

Anyone have a hell of a time trying to get the 4'' air and riva thru hull to fit in there? My exhaust pipe seems to be about an inch to far forward causing the intake to be off a little. It has a small gap that I can't get rid of because it leans forward. I can move the exhaust back but then it and the waterbox don't line up right. Any ideas?

Did you get the plastic inlet cone on all the way till the inner surface is flush with the supercharger housing. I had to use a press to get mine on all the way. When properly installed, there is about 1/16" clearence between the rear air inlet tube and the exzhaust tube--very tight. If you are an inch off I'de say you don't have the black plastic tub slid far enough over the white adapter. The black tube is machined to slide over that first inch of the rear of the adaptor.

Try to come in at an angle, keep everything loose with the 4" adapter and connection hose on the SC inlet. It's always tight! It will go with some love!!

Yes, I also rotate towards my throttle body side then pop it in place. Than rotate to top.

You came in from the waterbox side? Rotate towards the TB?

    adapter install

why not just remove the s/c ant then put it on

loosen up the j pipe clamp....scoot the exhaust back some...the sc will come right out

then just do it just like the pic shows

be sure to lube up the adapter with window cleaner it helps a lot
