2 month old leaking Riva Intercooler

Purchased a Stage 2 kit back in March 07 with the famous Riva Intercooler from Vortech. Despite reading a few posts about salt water eat out aluminum intercoolers I was assured by a Riva tech that I would not have a problem. After finding a salty s/c, yesterday I ran the ski with the Intake tube disconnected from the throttle body to water misting out of the tube from the I/C. What kind of product fails after only 2 months of use? Talk about a piece of shi$. I am just glad I caught it before it Fuc#$* up my engine. For those who had the same problem how did the dealers respond?

At least yours made it 2 months. I had to have mine welded before I even had it installed.

    An aluminum one!

Aluminum and salt water don't care what brand it is. It will corrode so this isn't just a RIVA thing.

It's a Riva thing because the unit has the thinnest plates and they use brass fitting wich interact with the aluminum and cause electrolyssis.
I have seen at least 6 units leak some ( my personal one included) and one fresh water only unit.

How about putting an Anode in an aluminum IC, does that help in salt water?
