    boost guage install question

    is there another place to hook this up if you still have the stock intercooler??

    yea, but it might not be 100% accurate....

    drill out on of the 3 boss's on the intake manifold, and run the line off that...

    You could use the throttle body lube tube if you wanted to.

    danny...do you remember what dia. vac. tube you use off the nipple?

    um, whatever line fits...I think 1/8th ID rubber hose...

    I wont be getting an external IC till later in the summer.

    the boss is hollow, so get a drill bit to fit inside....its not that deep, or thick, so don't go crazy...

    its the same location and setup as the installation of a Riva BOV...

    and if you get an external IC later, you tap the block off

    wont shavings go into the intake mani?? I'd rather just use a vac line somewhere until I get the ic block off.

    its plastic, do it slowly and you'll be fine...use the right drill bit, and the sliver of plastic comes out....even if there was a shaving, its would be small and would not impact anything...
