Why not angle the GPR venturi more ?

If a XLT nozzle is about 1mph slower what isnt a 7 degree 1mph faster ?

I dont have the ability to angle an existing venturi more. But I guess it could be done. Or has it already ?

I had a nozzle machined to 7 degree and tried it. Did not like it the bounce was to much causing it to lose speed.

Yeah, back in the early days a few folks tested 1, 2, and 3 degree pump wedges with the same results. The consensus was any more than the stock 5 degrees is too much of a good thing.

I guess now that the plates are at a larger angle a wedge is a good idea ?

I'm also curious why opinion on pump wedges has changed.... (or has it?)
