Sometimes shock can keep you from moving effectively.
I once was standing on the gunnel of a small boat tied to a dock, talking to a buddy on his boat 6 feet away and I slipped and fell in the water And ALL I could do was hold onto the rope from boat to dock.
Friend in my boat start yelling at me"" Dude get out of the water-what r u doing??""
I was frozen from the shock (water temp was warm) of just falling in the water (been on boats and water my whole life).
It took a good 6-7 minutes for my body to give me control back enough to climb back in the boat.
Cant imagine the panic seeing the skyscraper of a boat heading for me !!!!!!

I am a fat ass and I can easily get on my 12F, Ultra and an old SPX SeaPoo. I do however think my Waveblaster and standup days are over..lol. Although I do want to attempt the new SXR, probably will end with a good laugh..
