    Ngk r6918c

I have some left over R69's from my 99 ultra can these be used in my 03 stxr? I thought I read that you can but better to be safe then sorry Also do I gap them to the ultra's .55-.65 or the stxr's .7-.8

    Thanks, Eric

No you cannot use these plugs with the stx-r. stx-r calls for br9es, you would need a cdi box that is set up for that plug combination. the harness from 1999-2001 ultras are all the same 2002-2005 they changed the harness and electronics. the stx-r is a different animal tho i know for a fact the 99 will not work, but there is a possibility other years would be compatible.

Thanks turboman for the information, I knew I read somewhere you could use them but I guess it was in different years. Thanks again

You can only use the r69's in the 99 model year, halfway through production you were allowed to use either plug, 2000-2005 only br9es
