Anyone with a double trailer...
I am thinking about getting another ski (GP1300R) and will need to find a two place trailer to fit the XLL and the GPR. What I need to know is will a standard 2 place trailer fit in a ONE CAR garage?? The new house I just bought has a two car garage but is setup as two seperate doors. Can I get one of these trailers in a standard garage door??

Most double trailers are about 108" (9') wide. Unfortunately my garage is only 8' wide.

Wait...Some of the older trailers are narrower. You just lose the space inbetween the 2 ski's. I would look at lik a 96 - 98 triton I think they are 96 (not 100%). Just have to make sure the axle/tires of the trailer will support the weight.

Anyone know of a company that makes a narrower trailer that WILL fit? It needs to hold a XLL and a GPR... It seems like without the walkway in between that one would probably fit...

The most narrowest one I ever seen was Fercho's Triton. It held 2 GPR's. Fercho's old house used to have the 2 seperate doors, it was a VERY TIGHT fit getting that trailor in the garage and scraped plenty of times, I think he even notched some of the wood trim too.
Here are my 2 ideas:
1) Knock out the center beem and make it a regular door (one of my neighbors just did that). But from what I hear you need to have a professional do it because it will have some support issues.
2) Buy 2 roll around dollys so you can slide off the ski's and roll them into the garage on one side and roll the trailor in on the other side.

I have a very small double (100" wide) pictured with a '96XP (not an XLT).

My 96' Shorelander just barely fits through a single door opening. It rubs on both fenders but will just slide in.
It will not fit through the doors with the skis on it though. With my RX and my wife's Venture there is about 4" between the 2 skis down the middle.
I was talking to a friend of mine who is going to help me install a 9' wide door maybe this fall. You can custom order door sizes as long as you have the space along the sides to make the opening bigger.

I've got an older Majic Tilt (not sure how old); with my XLL and the GPR on it, it's right at 8' wide, with about 6" between the skis. Look for something adjustable that you can move the skis to the inside on.

I have found several that are 96" overall width... I need to measure the door to see if I have 8' or 9' doors (I am waiting to close on the house in a couple weeks and it is 5 hours away)...
