    Some random Polaris Pipe/Parts jibberish

Alright a few questions here, just would like the info:

    1. Who made pipes that go on the Hurricane or the twin engine? Hot Seat?

    2. How did you get the tripples for the pro 1200 from Factory Pipe? Where they special order only? How did you get the race pipes?

    3. What the hell are the Jetpro Pipes for the Pro 785????

    4. Is a domestic Hot Seat single pipe something to look into for some extra power? Never really heard much about them.

The HS single is one of two pipes ever made.
John at HS said they had a problem with cracking, and for some reason they were never put into production.

    Hot Seat

The Factory Pro 1200 Triples were available through Polaris to anybody that wanted them at the time. Made by Factory Pipe. offered through Polaris. The race pipes were for the race team back in the day and were not easy, or cheap to obtain.

    3. What the hell are the Jetpro Pipes for the Pro 785????

    Basically shortened stockers.

Don't bother, but it's one helluva collectors piece.

Dave, who owned Jet Pro and Proto Pipe did some work with Polaris, our racer at the time Niclas Granlund worked for Dave at Jet Pro.
They made better power but so did a lot of other pipes.

Can't remember anybody stating much other than it didn't work well, I wonder who has one of the little collectors items??

    Indeed,
I wonder if the problem was a water injection problem?
If memory serves me correct, John said that pipe was good for 15 hp.

I have set of shortened 785 pipes, one may be cracked though, need to pressure test. Could probably be fixed.

I can believe it. The pipe is all Stainless Steel. Although Stainless is a wonderful thing, in vibratory situations, it can be prone to cracking. Just like the PSI Sea-Doo 580 pipe back in the day... worked like a dream, awesome pipe, but for everyday of riding, I spent 20 minutes with the mig welder when I got home!!!
(did I just really use the word "vibratory???)

    That's exactly what they claimed.

I'll never tell... but, it ain't just packed with seeds and stalks!!!

When I get around to it, I will pressure test the pipe. Being Stainless and all, (any pipe for that matter) if it's sprung a leak and is spraying water into the exhaust path, well, we know it ain't going to perform.
