Any "Quakers" in here?
Was just wondering if anyone in the forum played Quake4? Bought it three weeks ago and am already slightly addicted.

my roomates cracked it the week after it came out. they are pretty handy for getting free software but yea its a good game..multiplayer is the best though. we try to get like 10 people to come over every other saterday night and play.

I've been running a quake 3 server on this server for the last 3 or so years. I tried quake 4 when it first came out, even ran a server. I didn't keep it up because there just isn't an online audience... yet and playing single player mode gets boring.
If you are interested I host another set of forums called http://gameisgood.com You'll find a Quake 4 section over there. We played a modification called Mr. Pants Excessive back in quake 3 days (i still play it) in a clan called iX. The admin over there (w0rm) created a similar modification for quake 4. Basically you get all weapons, a ton of ammo and a ton of health. It gets pretty wild.

Yeah, single player is a little boring, multi player is like a whole different game altogether.I don't have any problem finding servers with players on them,no matter what time of day it is.I played until around 3:30 am last night. Get my ass handed to me a lot,but it is fun.
